befree emerged from a deeply personal need when Nicole’s daughter, Stella, required a solution to the daily struggle of getting dressed during recovery from major hip surgery. Inspired by this experience and fueled by a passion to help others, Nicole and Joanne launched zipOns—a patented line of inclusive pants designed to offer comfort, dignity, and independence to wearers. We strive to lead a movement that brings visibility to adaptive fashion, expands consumer choice, and drives innovation in garment design.

zipOns, our flagship product, features full-length side zippers that run from the hem to
waist, allowing the pants to be fully opened on both sides. This design enables users to
put them on or take them off without having to pull the garment up through the legs,
while standing, sitting or lying down. They are ideal for post-surgery recovery,
individuals with short or long-term disabilities, adaptive sports participants, elderly
adults, or anyone facing mobility challenges. We've taken care to ensure comfort, style, and practicality are built into every detail, from soft moisture-wicking fabrics to full-length zipper covers for added protection.
